How long do projects take?
This depends on two main factors. Firstly, whether you have a layout ready that you just want painted versus working with us to create one, and then the size or intricacy of the project. Mostly, we aim to do as much prep work as we can off site so we disrupt your work as little as possible. So it’s a little bit of a ‘how long is piece of string’ question, but we can cover a lot of jobs in 2-4 days. This line of work is somewhere between being an artist and a tradesperson.
How much does a mural or sign writing cost?
We work with clients to make sure they get quality work for their budget. Often, we ask for a ballpark figure of what you might be working with so we can suggest the best route for you. But of course sometimes you have no idea where to start so, once we know a little bit about your project, we can give you a quote with one or more price points and you can decide for yourself what suits your needs and budget.

Is Your Work Completely Bespoke?
Hand created items are bespoke to you from start to finish. You can get something designed specially for you and to fit your companies needs and details. We don’t rely on fonts or computer graphics when creating your sign so you can get something really special with our techniques. Signwriting also works across many different surfaces from plastered walls to pebble dash, brick, glass or corrugated metal so we can create a vibrant space anywhere from the street to an office and capture just what you.
What About Longevity and Cost Effectiveness?
There’s a saying in signwriting; ‘Paint fades, vinyl dies’. There’s simply no better bang for your buck option than traditional signwriting. Other options can fade, crack and peel over time. Signs painted with quality enamel paint stand up brilliantly to wear and tear, they’re built to last.
Is Your Work Sustainable and Eco Friendly?
Hand painting your sign or mural creates very little waste. You don’t have plastic backing that comes on many vinyl signs (plus the sign itself being plastic) and you don’t have much other waste. At the end of a days signwriting you have a little turps, some mixing cups and paint mixing sticks – all of which we make a point to reuse to get as much out of them as possible. We also filter our waste water from signs to reduce adding paint waste back into the water system. If the environment and sustainability are important to your business, hand painting is the option for you!

Yes, of course we do. Whether you’re in Dublin or Donegal we can work with you for commercial work like shopfront signs or personal artwork we are happy to travel across Ireland.
